Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo on the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk have been the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also plays the role of drama instructor in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of her earliest memories of childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of plays. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a child. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met during an Actorsworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. After she had converted to Judaism and they were married again in a Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on the 20th of June 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to work on the show. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) one of their most favored television couples. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has earned it a large online fan base.
