Tessa Thompson
The actress Tessa Lynn Thompson was born on October 3, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Thompson is the daughter granddaughter of the singer Marc Anthony Thompson, as and actor Bobby Ramos. She was raised within Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her father is of Afro-Panamanian origin, and her mother from Mexican as well as British Isles origins. Thompson studied at Santa Monica High School where she performed in numerous theater productions. She attended Santa Monica College after graduation and earned a cultural anthropology degree. As Juliet her character, she performed in William Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" at the Pasadena California production at the Boston Court Theatre. Her nomination was for the NAACP Theatre Award in the same season. Tessa made her debut on TV in 2005. Her role was in an actress in the CBS Series.
